WHAT IS Datylon?
Datylon is a software company specialized in solutions for developing and sharing data visualization by creating custom-made platforms and turning complex data into compelling dashboards and data stories.
Datylon develops solutions and tools for advanced data visualization and data storytelling, and do this by use of an Adobe Illustrator plug-in. It allows you to design and create advanced data visualisations without any creative restrictions. The output can be charts for use in data rich reports, print, online or as templates for re-use and animations.
Besides the plug-in, Datylon also provides Datylon Insights, an online platform to share data stories based on templates made with the pug-in. The data owner can easily update the data and publish the data story by the click of a button.
TEST CASE with VRT CRW
Together with VRT CRW, Datylon started looking for ways how their tool could work for VRT CRW. They sit on a pile of data and work with this large data set on a day to day basis. Datylon found how they could provide VRT CRW a clear and fast way of managing all this data. One of our VRT Colleagues called it a very interesting must have tool, especially when maps are linked to it. The tone is set.
We further investigate the tool, and will put our heads together to find out in what different ways Datylon could serve VRT.
